LSE Space supports ESA’s ATV missions

LSE Space staff has supported the ATV missions since September 2008 as a part of the ESA ATV Operations Team based in Toulouse, France.
David Allain who joined LSE Space last year has been working at the organization, preparation and execution of the ground interface and end-to-end tests, supporting and reviewing the ATV Control Center Acceptance as well as ensuring the completion of all integration and validation activities.

The latest successful launch took place on 23rd March 2012, when ESA’s third Automated Transfer Vehicle, ATV Edoardo Amaldi was launched to the International Space Station.
